There's a dryden.com site which records a Margaret Dryden being born in c. 1800 and in the right place, so a possibility.

1.1.1 John BLACKIE (1829-1880?) [40].

Born 1829. Died 1880 (est).

1851 census has him visiting a family in Streatham called Ridley where Mariane Ridley was the Head. He is described as a Chemist and druggist and a few years later there is a chemist named John Blackie mentioned in a record from Victoria , Australia - perhaps he emigrated. Certainly there is no further record of him in Britain.

Born 1831, Bungay, Suffolk.

Had his own school in Chipping Hill, Witham, Essex. His assistant master Frederick Payne marrried Thomas's daughter Annie Maud.

1871 Census records Robert as married, living in Kings Lynn, with his wife, daughter and 5 servants.

1861 Census records her as unmarried and working as a governess at Thorpe Hall, Hasketon nr Woodbridge. Family of Joseph Smith, Farmer.

1.1.6 James Morell BLACKIE (1841-1889) [36].

Born 1841, Bungay. Marr Priscilla Louisa HORDERN 1866. Died 1889.

James was born after his father died, and his mother died shortly after he was born, and had to spend his early years in an orphanage.
